Through extensive research, including domain research, surveys, interviews, and contextual inquiries, the team identified key pain points and preferences of outdoor furniture shoppers. Strategic research was the initial step, encompassing surveys to identify the target customer base and their preferences. Subsequently, we collected customer behaviour data, including shopping patterns and cart abandonment rates. Prioritising key objectives, such as enhancing the user experience and driving conversions, guided our design process. Features such as high-quality photos, customer reviews, fabric samples, and easy returns were incorporated into the wireframe design to replicate the in-store experience and alleviate concerns.
In collaboration with the client, we developed a prototype of the redesigned website, focusing on garden furniture and design accessories. Finally, we implemented the design into a functional website using Shopify, providing a seamless online shopping experience for customers. Ultimately, the team redesigned the garden furniture and design accessories store, implementing the changes on the Shopify platform.
